VS1 New Functions:

Modbus/TCP to Modbus/RTU Gateway

Function allows for using the VS1 as a Modbus/TCP to Modbus/RTU gateway for connection to PLC systems and simultaneously monitor/control connected devices via your standard web-browser.

Trend / Log Function

Added Delta Logging - Stores the difference between the two last samples. As an example; a pulse counter is used. This counter increase the value for each received pulse.

New Energy Savings Estimator for AC Motor Systems Now Available

Estimates Energy Savings and Payback Time when using a NEMA Premium Motor versus a standard motor or rewinding and existing motor.

This program estimates energy savings and payback time when install a new AC motor with a higher efficiency (e.g. NEMA Premium Motor) compared to using a standard efficiency motor or rewinding an existing AC motor.

The results can be viewed in graphical format and text format and the software has built-in functions to generate an energy estimation report especially designed for consultants.

The energy estimator for AC Motor Systems is available in two editions:

Single system Edition

This edition allows users to estimate energy savings of a single motor system and generate a multi-page report based on the estimated savings.

Project Edition

This edition allows users to estimate energy savings of a project containing multiple motor systems of equal or different size. The software generates multi-page project report including a summary page based on the estimated savings of the total project.

VirtualSCADA Introduces three new I/O Modules - 8 Digital Inputs / 8 Digital Outputs

The VirtualSCADA VS-FIOD-808 models have 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs. The modules are available with relay, transistor NPN and transistor PNP outputs. Our I/O Modules have a RS485 (2 wire) communication port to connect to any MODBUS RTU master device (PLC / SCADA / Operator Interface). The VS-FIOD-808 module can be setup in a matter of minutes and does not required any programming.

The VirtualSCADA VS1SCADA Module interfaces directly with the VS-FIOD-808 modules allowing to monitor digital input status and control digital outputs with your web-browser.
