The eWON Cosy is an industrial VPN router designed to offer easy remote access, across the Internet, to machines and installations on customer sites or in the field. Key Features

Firewall Friendly

The eWON Cosy uses an outbound connection across the factory LAN (HTTPS port 443 or UDP 1194). This makes the eWON Cosy to be isolated from Internet by working with private IP address, non reachable from the Internet. No IT/firewall changes are needed to establish communication. A key asset that your IT team will appreciate!

Easy to setup and use

The eWON Cosy is easy to configure with just a few steps through the wizard. No need to stop the machine while you configure the eWON.

Customer keeps control

The VPN access can be controlled by a keyswitch or HMI button to manually enable or disable the VPN connection on-site letting the end user control when access is available.

Full audit trail and traceability

Our cloud-based connectivity service provides a connection report to keep traceability about whom, when, and how long each user has connected.

Secure VPN Connectivity

A fully secure SSL-based VPN tunnel is used for all traffic. The information exchanged during the communication is encrypted via SSL (2048-bit key) allowing only authenticated users to connect to the eWON. More questions about security? eWON developped a managed, hybrid, layered cyber security approach to protect its devices, network and most importantly, its customers's industrial systems.

Integrated WiFi & Cellular Connectivity

Available with WiFi and cellular modem to allow Internet connectivity while avoiding a connection on the factory/corporate LAN network. These units offer free access, high bandwidth, easy deployment (no cabling) and facilitates secure network management.
