VirtualSCADA® Anybus Wireless Bridge enables you to create a robust wireless connection to an industrial device. The solution is ideal for communication through hazardous areas or hard-to-reach locations where cables cannot be used. Wireless transmission is established via Bluetooth™ or Wireless LAN technology with several versions available for both serial and industrial Ethernet communication. The Serial or Industrial Ethernet Wireless Bridge comes in different versions for serial communication (RS232/422/485 - Bluetooth only) or industrial Ethernet (for example PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus-TCP and BACnet/IP). Point-to-point or multipoint Wireless Bridges are often used as a cable replacement of point-to-point communication (serial or Ethernet). But it can also be used as an access point for several Bluetooth nodes within range. A combination of WLAN and Bluetooth Wireless Bridges can provide redundant operation for use in critical operations.
VirtualSCADA® Anybus Wireless Bolt™ enables you to connect industrial equipment and devices to a wireless network. It can be mounted on top of a cabinet to enable wireless access over Bluetooth®, Bluetooth Low Energy® or WLAN (WiFi).
On the equipment side, the VirtualSCADA Wireless Bolt™ communicates over Industrial Ethernet, supporting protocols such as BACnet/IP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP as well as TCP/IP and UDP.
Configure Equipment Wirelessly
VirtualSCADA® Anybus Wireless Bolt™ gives you direct access to configure or troubleshoot your equipment. With a range of 300 ft (100 meters) you can access the internal web pages via a laptop, tablet or smartphone. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) means that you no longer need an expensive HMI. A service engineer or operator does not need to be physically at the site to gain access to the panel.
All-in-one solution
With the VirtualSCADA® Anybus Wireless Bolt™ you get an All-in-one package featuring, connector, communication processor and integrated antenna in the same unit, with an exterior NEMA-4X/IP67 protection class. Regardlessof the communication methodyou select, all products use the same connector (2x9pPlug Connector) for both power and communication.
